Description:
Plastic Quv accelerated weathering tester can simulate the harm caused by sunlight, rain and dew to the material, use the ultraviolet (UV) lamp to simulate the effect of sunlight, use the cold wet-like rain and dew.
The tested plastic material is placed at a certain temperature in a cycle of alternating light and moisture.
After a few days or weeks of testing, the damage seen outdoors can be reproduced for months to years.
Hazard types include: fading, discoloration, loss of light, silting, cracking, turbidity, foaming, embrittlement, strength degradation and oxidation.
In the QUV uv accelerated aging testing machine, the fluorescent uv lamp of the uv lamp can reproduce the effects of sunlight, and the condensation and water spraying system can reproduce the effects of rain and dew.
The temperature is controlled throughout the test cycle.
The typical test cycle is usually ultraviolet irradiation at high temperature and relative humidity at 100% dark moist condensation period.

Temperature Control System:
UV cycle:
In the process of UV exposure test, temperature control is very important, and more important is to match the test temperature used in the accelerated test with the maximum temperature of the material in the practical application.
The UV temperature setting in the equipment can be anywhere from 50C to 70ºCC, depending on the level of illumination and indoor ambient temperature.
The temperature adjustment of the equipment is accomplished by a controller with microcomputer function to command a series of systems such as air heater, water heater and so on in the equipment.
Moisture circulation:
As the temperature increases, the destructive power of moisture on the material increases dramatically.
Therefore, in the process of wet exposure, temperature control is the most basic requirement.
Furthermore, to produce an acceleration effect, it is necessary to maintain a high temperature environment during the wet exposure.
The condensation temperature in the device can be set from 40ºC to 60ºC at any point.
Heating system:
U - type high - speed heating tube of titanium alloy is used
Temperature control and lighting completely independent system
The temperature control output power is calculated by microcomputer to achieve high accuracy and high efficiency
